QUT Gardens Point ferry wharf : ウィキペディア英語版 | QUT Gardens Point ferry wharf
QUT Gardens Point was a ferry wharf in the Brisbane CBD used by the CityCat on the Brisbane River. It was destroyed during the 2010–2011 Queensland floods when the Brisbane River burst its banks and the terminal buckled under the fast moving torrent. A temporary terminal was in place until the permanent replacement permanent ferry terminal was built, the new terminal designed to be more flood resilient and have improved accessibility for people with a mobility or vision impairment. The new terminal opened on the 14th April 2015. ==Location== It is within walking distance of the QUT Gardens Point campus and the City Botanic Gardens. The northern access to the Goodwill Bridge for pedestrians and cyclists lies to the south of this wharf. The Queensland Parliament is a short walk to the east. It connects to Brisbane CBD via William Street to the North-East.
